Games are structured to maximize excitement and fairness within a one-hour time frame, ensuring an electrifying experience for players and fans alike.
Each game is allotted one hour, divided into three sixteen-minute runtime periods.
The final two minutes of the third period switch to stop time (unless the goal difference is 5 or more points).
Warm-Up: 5 minutes
Period 1: 16 minutes - Runtime
Period Break: 2 minutes
Period 2: 16 minutes - Runtime
Period Break: 2 minutes
Period 3: 14 minutes; Runtime, 2 minutes - Stop Time
*If the goal difference is 5 or more points there is no stop time.
In the event of a tie after regulation time, teams will engage in an immediate five-minute three-on-three run time overtime period. The first team to score wins the game. No shootouts during regular season play.
Each team is permitted one timeout per game.
