In a game that was lopsided from the very first shift, the U11 BRONCOS left no doubt about their superiority, dismantling the Red Stars by a score of 11-0. From the opening faceoff, the BRONCOS controlled the puck with relentless pressure, turning the ice into a one-way street toward the Red Stars’ net. The scoring started early and never stopped, with the home side netting five goals in the first period alone to put the game firmly out of reach.
The first period was a showcase of the BRONCOS’ offensive depth and crisp puck movement. Parker Woloszyn (#11) and Ivor Baron (#7) found the back of the net early, with Woloszyn striking just 24 seconds in to set the tone. A power-play goal from Noah Guittard (#16) extended the lead, and Mason Korobanik (#88) and Woloszyn again added even-strength strikes to make it 5-0 by the first intermission. The Red Stars struggled to generate any sustained pressure, managing only two shots on goal for the entire game. The BRONCOS’ defense, anchored by goalie Jaxson Dennis (#74), faced little resistance as they turned every turnover into a scoring chance.
The second period continued in similar fashion, with Ivor Baron (#7) scoring his second of the game off a feed from Guittard (#16), followed by goals from Mason Korobanik (#88) and Hendrick Busby (#15) to push the lead to 8-0. The third period saw no let-up, as Baron completed his hat trick on the power play, and Woloszyn added his third goal of the night to cap off the rout. The game was marred by a scuffle late in the third period, with Roughing minors handed out to Logan Elvertorp (#4) of the BRONCOS and two Red Stars players, Owen McNabb (#4) and Max Bohn (#10), but the outcome was long decided. Jaxson Dennis (#74) earned the shutout, facing just two shots in a stellar, if quiet, performance. For the Red Stars, goalie Callen Bedford (#74) faced a staggering 29 shots and made several key saves to keep the score from being even more lopsided, but the BRONCOS’ relentless attack was simply too much to handle.
