A commitment to sportsmanship, respect, and teamwork forms the foundation of the BHE1 Sports community, ensuring a positive and enjoyable experience for everyone involved.

We hold ourselves to a high standard of behavior both on and off the ball hockey rink. Our commitment to sportsmanship, respect, and teamwork is paramount to creating a positive and enjoyable experience for everyone involved. Please review and adhere to the following Athletes Code of Conduct:

ATHLETES CODE OF CONDUCT

Respect for the Game:
I will respect the rules and the spirit of the game at all times.

Temper Control:
I will control my temper, understanding that fighting and poor behavior can spoil the activity for everybody.

Respect for Teammates, Coaches, and Parents:
I will respect my teammates, coaches, and parents, recognizing their contributions and supporting them.

Respect for Opponents:
I will respect my opponents, their coaches, and parents, displaying sportsmanship and fair play at all times.

Team Player Mentality:
I will strive to be a true team player, supporting my team and working together towards our goals.

Understanding the Importance of Winning:
I will remember that winning isn't everything; having fun, improving skills, making friends, and doing my best are equally important.

Respect for Authority:
I will remember that coaches and officials are there to help me. I will accept their decisions and show respect towards them.

Dignified Conduct:
I will conduct myself in a dignified manner before, during, and after each game or practice, representing BHE1 Sports with pride.

Celebrating Diversity:
I will recognize and encourage diversity in all forms, celebrating the unique backgrounds and experiences within our sport.

Respectful Language:
I will not use terms that belittle, demean, or are disrespectful to anyone.

Zero Tolerance for Derogatory Behavior:
I will absolutely not use any language or gestures of a derogatory nature, including but not limited to gender, race, skin color, or sexual orientation.
