The game was dominated entirely by the Shadowstorm, who maintained relentless offensive pressure throughout all three periods, firing an impressive 31 shots on goal in the first period alone while holding the Sharks to just 6. The tone was set early when Kristopher Leong (#67) scored just 11 minutes and 37 seconds into the first period, assisted by Dominic Reiter (#13), and the onslaught continued as Hayden Hendra (#33) and Leong added goals before the first intermission.
