The Danglers put on an offensive clinic, cruising to a commanding 6-2 victory over the U15 Snipers in a game that was never really in doubt. From the opening puck drop, the Danglers set the tone, outshooting the Snipers 19-14 in the first period alone and establishing a three-goal lead before the intermission. The Snipers, despite a valiant effort, were simply outmatched by the relentless forecheck and precise finishing of the Danglers attack.
The first period was a masterclass in efficiency for the Danglers. Coltir Bucci (#9) struck first at the 13:00 mark, followed by a beautiful setup by Hunter Hilsen (#14) and Max Curtis (#6) that led to Mason Pacheco's (#16) goal at 9:42. Holden Lindsay (#15) capped off the period with a buzzer-beater, scoring with just 13 seconds left to send the Danglers into the break with a 3-0 lead. The Snipers, meanwhile, struggled to generate consistent pressure and were stifled by the Danglers' defense.
The Snipers showed some life in the second period after Spencer Haire (#10) made it 4-0 on an assist from Lindsay. Jack Borhaven (#18) answered back for the Snipers, burying a chance off feeds from Jacob Levy (#17) and Lucas Thompson Pi (#10) to make it 4-1. Borhaven struck again later in the period, this time with help from Ronin Hoeppner (#14), pulling the Snipers within two. But that was as close as they would get. Holden Lindsay completed his hat trick early in the third period, and Keiran Grosvenor (#8) added a shorthanded dagger at 13:30 to seal the blow. The Snipers' frustration boiled over with a flurry of penalties in the final frame, including a double-minor for high-sticking and a trip, but they couldn't crack the Danglers' net again. Goaltender Anthony Hanzel (#54) earned the win, while Evan Yeung (#0) took the loss for the Snipers.
