A MESSAGE FROM 2025 KIDSPORT:
2025 Application Submission Deadline
The deadline to submit 2025 KidSport Edmonton grant applications is December 8th, 2025. Please share this with families in your school or sport community who may need support with registration fees.
Please do not submit any 2026 applications (sport programs that start in 2026) until January 1st, 2026. Our Program Team will only be processing 2025 applications until the deadline mentioned above.
A COMPLETE KidSport Edmonton application requires:
- A completed application form; and
- Sport Registration Receipt (must include the athlete's full name, sport club's name, sport/program, sport/program start and end dates, and total registration costs); and
- Proper Financial Documentation (one of the following):
- Canada Child Benefit (CCB) Notice (base year 2024); or
- Valid copy of the City of Edmonton Leisure Access Program Registration Letter (with all members of the household and expiry dates).
Applications are reviewed in the order in which they are received and can take up to 4 weeks to be processed.
Incomplete applications are placed on hold and do not keep a spot in our queue.
