The season will start mid-April, we will play 16 regular season games plus playoffs (Pre-Novice will have 8 games - Saturdays only, no playoffs) and will end the end of June with all games played mainly out of the West Soccer Centre but depending on numbers, we will also be using the South Soccer Centre. There will be one practice scheduled by BHE1 at the very beginning so your child(ren) can come out meet their team, get their jerseys, and have a quick practice.
The games will be played every Saturday (excluding May Long Weekend) and a game during the week as well.
The following is the breakdown of birth years as per Alberta Minor Ball Hockey and CBHA:
6 year olds - can either play in Pre-Novice or U9.
U9 will be full floor, regular play - Pre-Novice is half floor less structured.
Players are allowed to play up a division if required due to skill level.
This year we will be creating two divisions right at the start of the season. Competitive Divisions and Recreational Divisions. When registering please state which division your child will be registering in.
Friend requests - please include this on your registration and we will do our best to accommodate you.
The success of our Season also depends on the participation of parents - we do not provide coaches so we ask that a parent or two for every team step up to help coach their team and provide the players with a fun positive atmosphere where they can gain some skills and get some exercise.
Floor time is all at the West & South Soccer Centres which not only helps to provide your kids with a safe fun place to play but it’s great for the parents, no games are rained out.
If you are a team registering and you already have jerseys, your players do not have to select the jersey package when registering. If you need to purchase jerseys from the League then your players will need to select the jersey package as part of their fees.
Individual registrations must select the jersey package as part of their fees as the jerseys are going to be different this year.
THE COST IS $195.00 PLUS GST = $204.75
JERSEY FEE IS $32.50 PLUS GST = $34.13
PRE-NOVICE IS $110 PLUS GST = $115.50

As we continue to grow and more teams maintain their rosters moving from season to season, we are happy to announce a team registration fee. Team fees will be paid in one payment from the Team Representative. No payments are required by individual players when registering as a team.
TEAM FEE FOR 2024:
$2,950.00 PLUS GST - $3,097.50
The minor increase in fees this year only reflects the increase we received in Floor Costs.
